This is a 15th century fresco of King David
This is a 15th century fresco of King David, King of Israel. King David was one of, if not the most gifted, talented and blessed men in the history of the nation of Israel. Other than Yahawashi of course.
He was gifted with immense faith, he was a gifted poet and musician, he was a gifted warrior and he was a great ruler. On top of that, he was also given the gift of prophecy.
4; Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5; Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6; Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever
This Psalm exemplifies the great faith King David had in The Most High.
22; I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23; My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
This Psalm conveys King David’s musical gifts and talents. 1 Samuel 16:23 conveys how he was able to remove Saul’s evil spirit through playing the harp.
Psalm 144:1; [[A Psalm of David.]] Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
Psalm 18:34; He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
Way before these kung fu and martial art specialists in Asia, there was King David!
1:[[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool
2:The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
All praises to The Most High🙏🏾
